Bella Donna is a college women’s ultimate team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, part of a larger ultimate frisbee program that includes a second women’s team and two men’s teams. Bella Donna’s roster of 26 players has prioritized a commitment to the world beyond the field. Together, we continue to reflect, learn, and empower ourselves and others both in ultimate and in other endeavors.
We believe that by investing our time, money, and passion into Bella Donna, we are part of a legacy that precedes us and will continue when we leave. As individuals, we find meaning in ultimate through both our triumphs and struggles; as a team, we build a collective experience and make beautiful, weird memories.
