We strive to make women’s ultimate at UW-Madison financially accessible for all who have the drive and heart to participate. Bella Donna has been hard at work raising funds during the fall season to alleviate dues for players during the spring tournament season. We have structured our budget to keep costs low by attending three regular-season tournaments; however, they are far away and will require flying. With our sights set on Nationals, these tournaments will provide the means for a successful season, and will provide the fuel to launch us into the post-season. Still, the costs associated with tournaments on the coasts will be high and difficult to gather for much of our team. This season we will be flying to Charlotte, NC, San Francisco, CA, and Baltimore, MD. We are seeking your support in making these tournaments an option for all of our players and coaches! In addition to the bid fees and hotel costs, we are looking for sponsors and donations to cover the following costs for some players and coaches:
airfare between Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago and Charlotte, San Francisco, or Baltimore
jerseys!
We are grateful for any and all donations that will make this opportunity more accessible for our players and coaches. This might mean non-monetary donations, such as airline or rental car points, access to companion passes (looking at you, Delta Platinum members!), hotel nights, or hosting options. We value every single member of our team, from our rookies to our grad students to our unconditionally loyal coaches.
